How It Works

A run through of how your resume is generated and how AI is used to help.

To start, you paste in the job ad, either the full text or just the link. We try to extract the job title and responsibilities. In some cases, the page can be automatically scraped (this is experimental and might not always work).

Then you upload your resume or paste the contents in. We read through your experience and try to match it to the job by looking for relevant skills, responsibilities, and tone.

The AI looks for key phrases and common wording used in the job ad and rewrites your resume to reflect those. This helps it feel aligned with what the employer is actually looking for enhancing what you've done.

We also try to pull out any strong achievements or highlights and make sure they're clearly shown. If there's useful and relevant information in your resume that doesn't naturally fit into one of your roles, we'll place it in a “Miscellaneous Information” section near the end.

Once it's ready, your resume is formatted using a reverse-chronological layout, which is most preferred by hiring managers and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). You can download it as a PDF, DOCX, or plain text file.

We use AI to support this process, but it only works with the information you give us, it doesn't invent experience or add anything fake.
